A shiatsu treatment takes place on a futon mattress with the client wearing loose, comfortable clothing such as a t-shirt and jogging trousers.

A session lasts 55 minutes, including a chat before and after the treatment.

I charge £40 for a treatment at my home in Seven Sisters in Tottenham. I’m available on Monday and Thursday evenings and Saturdays.

To book an appointment at my home clinic, call or text me on 07540306045 or email me at mikemcdonough74@gmail.com.

Home visits are also possible – please get in touch to enquire further.

Here are some points to consider before a treatment:

  • You should avoid eating heavily or consuming alcohol or other intoxicants within the hour preceding a treatment.
  • Chronic conditions usually take longer to resolve – overnight results are unlikely. On the other hand, I have found regular shiatsu over a sustained period to be helpful for complex, long-term problems involving lots of symptoms.
  • Cancellations need to be made at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise I reserve the right to charge for the cancelled session.
  • Please arrive on time as there may be other clients after your session.
  • Please be aware that a shiatsu treatment is not a form of primary health care.
